Considering McKinnon's fragile mental state it seems absolutely unbelievable that extradition looked like it would go through with so little media fuss and public outcry. The only thing sadder and more disappointing than this fact is that, a few days after I wrote this article, the home secretary, Alan Johnson, confirmed that Mckinnon will be extradited. No matter what they may rebrand waterboarding as it is still against the human rights of the individual and we should not be sending vulnerable people to such as place.
