It integrates social networking components (relationship building and viral marketing) to allow the flow of information in and out of large student community. Studentbox is built on symfony php framework and it is utilizing cloud computing via Amazon Web Services (AWS).
StudentBox was Founded in 2006 by Carl Edouard Pihl.
Carl is an ambitious Kings college graduate, who started StudentBox while finishing university and in two years has grown to become one of the most successful online Social Networking platform in the UK. With some of the UK’s most respected Universities and Companies as clients Studentbox is the most popular hub for students.
