We are looking for a Product Designer who excels in the early stages of the design process when clients are unsure of what they want, who their target audience is, or how to communicate their vision to us.
As our ideal candidate, you will be able to understand and create business requirements for digital products that deliver value to end-users and support clients’ business goals while keeping technical constraints in mind. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout various stages of the digital product design and development process.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate product discovery workshops to identify customer needs, product features and requirements
- Define user types and create detailed user flow maps to guide product development
- Create wireframes, prototypes and low-fidelity designs to effectively communicate ideas and design concepts
- Write UX copy that is clear, concise, and effective
- Define product requirements and acceptance criteria while keeping the user perspective and budgetary considerations in mind
- Prioritise features based on business value and customer needs
- Create product development roadmaps that align with business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet business requirements
- Write proposals and create content for pitch decks
- Lead full-stack development teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or Product Owner ideally in the areas of web or mobile development
- Experience with facilitating workshops
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how design impacts business outcomes
- Understanding of technical feasibility of complex web and mobile apps
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Figma or other design tools
- Excellent spoken and written English
